Pregnant so wont be doing all the rides.. re multi pass

Party of 6 going and obviously due to pregnancy one member wont be going on some rides with us..but doesnt want to be booked on anything else, will either just sit and rest or go thru the queue with us. In the past if one member wasnt feeling a ride that we all had passes for we would just take that persons magic band and scan it in when the group was going thru the ride, so that we could easily continue booking our next ride. Is this the best/only option to keep things simple?

Can't say if there are other options, but we did what you described during our trip when someone in our party didn't want to do a specific ride. Took their MB and tapped it along with everyone else and worked out fine. As I recall under the old Fast/Pass system, you could only book a ride so many hours after the prior one, so this made things way simpler for our group. If that new LL works the same way, that is what I would recommend.

This is true -- entering the LL queue requires a LL pass (or a child swap pass). But if the person who won't be riding doesn't have a LL pass, there's no need to sign in because not riding won't affect the ability to get another pass.

Yes, definitely best option. We do this all the time for rides my mom doesn't ride.
