Pregnant at Disneyworld

I went to WDW when I was pregnant both times, once at about 8 weeks and then the second time at about 4 months. I think it was the pixie dust that took away any morning sickness!!! Seriously, i was usually queezy in the mornings, but at WDW, I felt great! I obeyed all of the Disney warning signs and still had fantastic times, especially during my second preganancy as DD was 3, and she was such a joy.

I went last month at 10 weeks. I was having a lot of nausea so we moved in slow motion quite a bit (no commando). It was nice though because it wasn't hot at all so that didn't effect. Take it easy, take lots of breaks and enjoy!

Just wanted to say congratulations! :goodvibes

I don't have any tips cause I've never been to Disney pregnant. I actually just found out I was pregnant about a month ago. I'm a little bummed that we won't be able to hit Disney this year (I want to be a sahm so we'll be trying to save every penny to get us a good head start; plus we go in the summer and I don't see 8 mos pregnant a good time to fly 3 hours and walk around in 100 degree heat).

Anyway, have a great time!

I went when I was 7 months pregnant along with my then 22 month olds ds! Talk about a WDW addict. ;) Anyway, I had no problems at all. My only advice would be to wear comfy shoes and obviously take breaks as needed and stay hydrated. Have fun!

Unless I missed it while skimming the earlier posts, no one mentioned the primary problem I had while pregnant and visiting WDW. I could walk all day long without a problem, but just standing (waiting in line) was horrible!!!!

This applied during most of my pregnancy. I can recall going get a car tag, walking several blocks from my office to the DMV feeling great. After standing in line for a couple of minutes I felt SO sick. I didn't really "look pregnant" yet, or I would have used the pregnant card -- it was that bad.

I wouldn't plan on lots of rides if they involve long lines. Take it easy overall and stay hydrated. :flower:
