Pregnant and Going to Disney

If you want to do Disney and can move it up, then just go as slow as she needs to. Yes! Rent a wheelchair, that's a wonderful idea to conserve energy.

We went during 3 of our 4 pregnancies, and for the very first one, that trip to Disney was soooo special. We spent the entire trip watching all the families and enjoying all fun THEY were having and looking forward to all the fun we'd someday have with our kids. That was actually one of my favorite trips.

I am 20 weeks preggers now and I couldn't imagine going to Disney, especially in September!! The heat is awful. I would advise taking it SLOW! Lots of fluids and I think renting a wheelchair would be great, because that is alot of walking and I would worry about her overdoing it or feet and legs swelling!

I was going to say this precisely. We were there last September and it was very hot still. I'm 28 weeks now and had my first dose of weather in the high 80's this weekend and I was very uncomfortable and there was no humidity to speak of. I can't imagine dealing with the swelling of the body and the Braxton Hicks. And I only have one here!

I am going the end of August and just found out I am pregnant too.I am worried about going but I don't want to cancel because of my 7 yr old dd.I figure it will be the last trip just the three of us and she is already getting upset that she will lose the playrom for the nursery so I don't want to take anymore away or she will hate the little one before it comes out!I am going to plan to go and if we have to cancel closer to it because of any problems than I guess thats what I will do.I think I am going to rent a scooter cause I have bad vericose veins still from my last pregnancy and I am sure it will be the same this time.I know it will be hot but we were there last July so we can be more laid back-my dd loves to swim anyway.I just hope I can enjoy all the free food and I won't be too sick!!Good luck with your trip
