Pregnant AK Elephant

Just thought I'd offer my congratulations to Animal Kingdom's pregnant elephant!!! Can you imagine being pregnant for almost 2 YEARS

For all you fellow Pittsburgh-ers, the dad is our male elephant!! He is the same dad as our two "little" bundles of joy that were born at our zoo. Doesn't there always seem to be a Pittsburgh connection to everything?

There are actually 4 pregnant elephants, 2 natural and 2 artificially inseminated. WOW they are doing a great job at AK breeding elephants.

Does anyone know the due dates for any four of the elephants? Wouldn't it be great to see a little one out there with her mommy?! Pregnant, two years, uh...no!
