I have a trip booked for the first week in March.... I made the reservations before our 2nd IVF cycle in the hopes it would work. I specifically booked it at a time after all testing had been done and we would know if the pregnancy was healthy and viable; I've had 4 miscarriages in the past 2 years. Our 2nd cycle (in Nov) failed but we went right into the next cycle in Dec.... to our surprise it worked and we're so excited. I booked a dining reservation at Crystal Place at 8:15AM for breakfast (the park opens at 9AM that day) in the hopes of not many people being in the pic. Are photo-pass photographers there before the actual opening and are there any cute magic shots for this type of pic? Also we're looking for unique announcement ideas. TIA! :flower3:

Please be advised they let everyone onto main street at 8am. So for your less people pictures, arrive around 7:30 and you can get in at 7:45am for your special pics. There will likely be photo pass people out and if nothing else, many eager cast members would be happy to take these special photos for you with your camera. Congratulations!

Thank you so much for the information! I really appreciate it!

Also we're looking for unique announcement ideas.

I've seen people put the due date on baby-sized Mickey ears and hold it near their belly in the pics, or do the same thing with a sign that says something like "Another Disney fan on the way."

You could also pose near the castle (or do they have a Tinkerbell Magic Shot??) with a sign that says "The magic has happened! - Baby _____ is due in _____."

Or if you don't end up getting a non-crowded park shot, you could always have one of the Crystal Palace characters hold the sign when they come to your table. I bet they'd do a cute surprised expression or something.

Congratulations!!! We got some pictures by the wishing well near the castle with, a wish is what your heart makes... and even miracles take a little time. When we went back the next year, we got pictures of him at the well.

Not sure about using the photographers but my wife got a bump photo from right along side Cinderella's Castle with no bystanders by waiting until the middle of the parade. Not professional and not necessarily the absolute most magical angle, but worth it in terms of not being having to dodge the crowds and it got the point across.

We did our pregnancy announcement last August in Galaxy’s edge! The baby is due at the end of April and I can’t wait to go back to take pictures with him. I also plan to get some bump pictures next month

We did a combined baby/gender announcement on our trip last year when I was 18 weeks. The photopass guy we got was great - posed us and took these photos with my iphone. We took the photos around 10:30am. IMG_0028.jpgIMG_0098.jpg

We did a gender announcement at MK and got some great pics! We got a kids hat with the ears and held it between us. We got a Minnie Mouse pink one since we were having a girl. We first showed people the pic in black and white then changed it to color when we were ready to let them know.

Congratulations!
