preferred vs. premium

We have never stayed at FW and were wondering what some of you had to say about staying in a preferred vs. a premium site? We have a 23 ft. TT with a slide. Have 2 kids (ages 10 & 12). May or may not have our 4-legged kid (I know some are pet friendly, some are not). Are looking at going in June 2015. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. Michelle

It is strictly a preference thing. We have stayed in both and full. I got to say I like the extra room of premium. I like the price of full. You can't beat the location of preferred. So, I'm happy where ever we wind up.

I agree; it is a matter of preference. I like the full hook-up sites (1600-1900) as they seem to be a bit quieter and offer nice walks for pets. They're an easy bike ride to the outpost bus stops and a nice walk to the campfire and the pool - prices are a bit better as well. Again, it really depends on what amenities are important to you and your family. At any rate, you'll have a great time at the Fort.

You will enjoy FW no matter where you camp!

We prefer the 100-200 preferred loops as they are closest to the dock, settlement area. They are both for non-pets, but 300 is pet friendly and is also close. We have never gotten premium as we don't need the extra space.
