Hi, can anyone tell me could we put 2 tents on a preferred tent site?

There would be plenty of room; however most of it will be on the concrete pad.

Yes you can, for the most part, but it would depend on the size of the tents.

A few sites are small/tight like #201. (March 2016 trip)





A few sites are big like #114. (November 2022 trip with my canvas tents [7x9, 10x12] on the pad).



And most are in-between.

My advice would be to know the combined size of their footprint set up and then go into the Fort lobby to check in in person when you arrive and ask to get a site assigned that will fit your footprint. The earlier in the day you arrive, the better your chances of getting swapped (if needed) to a site that will fit you. (The computer randomly assigns site numbers for arrival based on what's available the day you get there).
