We have reservations in a few weeks for a full hook-up pet loop...would have preferred a preferred site for the cable...is ther any other difference between a preferred site and full hook-up?....I have heard that the non-preferred sites are actually larger, is this true?
Thanks

We think they are. We prefer the full hook up. We are not at the camper enough to pay for cable. We like the area around the meadows trading post versus by the lake. I really think they pack you in down there. Just my opinion. Chances are you will be in 1600, 1700, 1800 or 1900. All of which we have stayed in when we have camped with pet people. Much quieter even with pets.

Full hookup sites are larger and farther apart with more vegetation between sites than preferred. For the extra money, you get cable and closer proximity to the Settlement area. The picture of my Kiwi below was taken in the 1900 loop - a full hookup pet loop - to give you an idea of what this area looks like.

We pay the extra money for the preferred sites for the proximity to the boat docks -- we always request Loop 200. The cable is just an added bonus.
