Preferred or partial for large tent? Really wanted to be close to marina, etc.

But our current tent has a large footprint (17x10) and I'm not sure it would fit at a preferred site sand pad. I'd also love to add a smaller tent to our site. Do you think a large tent and a small tent would fit on a preferred site sand pad? Would I want to tent camp at a preferred site anyway?

We dont tent camp but always stay in preferred sites. Their are usually a few tents scattered around the loop. My advise if you want the closeness of being in a preferred site is to request a site with the large sand pad because you are tent camping.
