We booked through Disney.co.uk for the first time to get free dining. On our booking it states preferred firework viewing for MK and Epcot. Does anybody know where the viewing areas are? Thanks

we have these too but have read on here the wishes one is not a good view so we wont be using ours for wishes

I also think I heard somewhere that the Epcot one isn't that great either....

In MK its at Plaza Landing by the Plaza restaurant, many say not a great place.
In Epcot its Morocco boat landing, most seem to enjoy from here.

We can use either in August but doubt we will bother.

Sorry to hijack thread but does anyone know if this needs to be pre-booked? do you need a reference number or a pass or something to get to the preferred area? just wondering whether it's worth doing at Epcot?

TIA

We didn't bother,in fact still have the vouchers along with the free round of golf (which until you read the smallprint is a one person free round of golf!) & the sea raycer 45mins for the price of 30...... The epcot one isn't bad but we have our own preference (the japanese arch) for viewing so .....
SD:thumbsup2

Disapointed with the golf - as if 1 person can play be themselves, seems a con to me. We did enjoy the golf last year so will still go.

the golf doenst bother us as its like buy one get one free

ok yes its a little misleading from the write up to what you actaully get

We too, have heard that Wishes has a restricted view, due to trees!:confused3
The Epcot area is "built", by moving tub planted trees etc.. We did go there in 2007 as Disney cancelled one of our ADR's. It was ok from there, but check in advance where it is (we didn't think it was obvious), as no CM seemed to be able to tell us where it was and we ended up running around "The World" :rotfl2: with minutes to spare before the Fireworks started. If it hasn't moved it was located a the front of the World Showcase.
