Preferred campsite

Just booked for April! Yippeee! Booked a preferred site, any thoughts on which may be the best loop to request?

The only preferred loops are 100, 200 and 300. 100 and 200 are closest to the Settlement (Marina and Trails End) and share a comfort station, there bus stop is either the 300/500 or at the settlement. 300 is a little farther away and close to the dog park and has its own comfort station in the center of the loop, it has a bus stop at the entrance to the loop that is shared with the 500 loop which is across the street. All loops are nice so whichever you end up in you will have a great time.

100 loop is our favorite.

Close to the Settlement, the boats to MK, Trails End and Hood Dee Do (whenever it returns).

When we still had small campers we always requested the 100 loop. We never felt we needed for a golf cart. It is a short walk to the Settlement bus stop or the boat to Magic Kingdom and beyond.

At night you can hear the boat whistle and the Electrical Water Pageant. When the trains were running and the wind was blowing right, you could hear the train whistle too.

Yep ... we always try for loop 100. But depending on the size of the rig, all sites are not created equal for those loops. If my family happened to be camping in the area a few days before official Fort check-in, we would many times drive to the Fort for breakfast or dinner the day before and scout what 100 loop spots may be available. Don't know if you can still pull that off post Covid without a dining reservation anymore though

Just stayed in 100 loop, as stated easy to get around, short walk to the beach for the fireworks, or the boats and now the bus to MK. 300 is great if you have a dog. I think any of the spots are good. Have fun!

We enjoyed 300. A nice compromise between being close to the marina and being close to the meadow. Plus, it was close to a playground that wasn't as crowded as the one up by the beach.
