Yes...Preferred APs have free parking but they have to be activated before you get in the garage for free. If you wanted to have someone drop you off...walk over and activate...then come back you could do it but that's a lot of walking.

Just moved here 2 months ago and just purchased the premium pass last week . Went for the first time ever. We had a print out from buying them online and we did not have to pay for parking, and it was preferred parking.
