Is there a way to predict if a cruise will have a FL resident (or other discount) offered on it? We booked an April 13-17 Disney Wish to Lookout/ Castaway with our placeholder discount for $4400 in an inside room for 2 adults, 1 child, and 1 infant. I'm wondering if it is worth rescheduling our placeholder to May for $270 more to see if April Wish cruises end up going on sale because we are flexible on dates. Do you think $4400 is a bad price for this itinerary for a family of 4?

Florida resident discounts typically get offered on sailings that aren't filling as well. You won't see those discounts on sailings that are close to selling out.

So, while it's not a guarantee, if it's a sailing that looks to have a lot of staterooms left and is a few months away from sailing, it might get a discount offered.

I doubt April cruises will get discounts offered, that's during spring break which is a popular time for families to sail.

It looks like your cruise works out to $275/person per night. I always break down cruise costs this way to make a good comparison. That's not a terrible price-we usually pay that for verandah rooms, but you're also sailing at a peak time so I'd say that's not too bad.

$4400 for an inside stateroom for 4 nights, 2A 2C. It sounds kind of high to me, but I haven't priced spring cruises for a while. That's a full week after Easter so while there may be a few schools with vacations then it isn't many. New England has "April vacation" but it's a week later. No telling if there will FL Res rates, though it does seem there have been quite a lot of *GT rates lately.

I think it might be higher than usual because it's going to both LC and CC.

That’s what I’m thinking… I don’t think it’s a bad price since it’s going to both but I wish I knew what it was when first announced
