I feel like last year was their gift Superbowl, With KC not getting the ball in overtime , then Gurley a shall of himself in the Bowl. It counts good for them and I think Billecheck realizes it was a gift and is trying to squeak one more out with unsavory characters
Are you serious? The Pats defense is stacked this year and will be much better than last year, and now their offense is loaded also at wideout and running back. If you think last year was their last hurrah then you truly don't know the game. In fact last year was the weakest Pats team in the last 6 years. Late in the season they lost that terrible last second game at Miami then go to Pittsburgh and laid an egg so with 2 games left in the season they were 9-5, Gordon gets suspended, and looked hopeless. They win the last 2 games to end up 11-5 and face the Chargers in the first game of the playoffs who many predicted would beat the Pats and destroy them. Then to win the Super Bowl they had to beat KC and the Rams who all season were the 2 best teams in football and they did with the KC game being in Arrowhead. So in a year when the Pats looked average all season they still win it all in the end. And you say they beat KC only because they received the ball first in OT, but on the winning drive the Pats converted three 3rd and 10's. Championship teams don't allow that so the Chiefs only have themselves to blame.
BTW I was listening to sports talk the other day and they posed the question "Who is the 2nd best head coach in the NFL behind Belichick?" They said it was so difficult to pick one and that's why the Pats are always in the mix while other franchises come and go.
