Predict the end of "Seventh Heaven"; will Simon marry Rose?

But how WERE they able to eat all those Oreos without getting black teeth? I've never been able to do it.

:teeth: I was looking for the black in Annie and Rose's teeth and barely glimpsed it in Annie's. If you look back you'll notice that part of the time she barely showed her teeth during the Oreo eating episode up in the bedroom after Ruthie's confrontation with Rose.

I also thought that Rose's turn around was done too quickly. Should have at least took two episodes, not five minutes.

Maybe Rose will leave Simon at the altar.

I was watching for black-Oreo-teeth too! :teeth:

My guess (hope) is that everyone will show up for the wedding, and somewhere in the back of the church Rose will realize she really wants to marry Umberto, Simon will agree, and Umberto and Rose will be married by Rev. Camden with Simon as best man.

Too far-fetched? Or something only a Camden would think up??? :goodvibes

Here's a question: Several episodes ago, it was a big deal that Simon wanted to be married in his church by his dad and Rose said no. I thought maybe they were going to split up over that. Then we had a few weeks of re-runs, then it wasn't mentioned again. Did I miss where they resolved that issue, or did the writers just assume that the viewers had forgotten the issue?

As for Rose: The writers created this obnoxious, unlikable character. Now, they have Annie loving her and Rose doing a few nice things (like letting the twins use the mini-fridge), but I still don't like her...to me, she's still obnoxious and unlikable. I hate it that Annie all the sudden treats her like a daughter.

I can see a family being polite and tolerating someone that their son loves, but I don't think its human nature (even for good Christians) to go from not being able to stand someone to loving them like a daughter, all in a very brief period of time.

I don't think they even did resolve the church issue. I also agree that this complete turnaround is so unbelievable, I'm hoping that there is some kind of twist at the end. I guess they are running out of episodes to resolve the issues so we just fast forward past them. At least when Matt and Sarah got married there was some resolution to the problems that were worked out. Maybe next week will be better since it appears that Simon and Rose have issues.

Too far-fetched?
Not at all. Someone mentioned that they seem to be fast forwarding everything so I can see this happening. Wasn't the issue about being married in the church briefly mentioned Monday night while Ruthie was talking to Lucy or Ruthie talking to her mom? I agree, no one can make that turn around that fast and, we being only human, can except someone that quickly.

What do you think is Matt and Sarah's newest big secret that even Ruthie didn't want to pass on to her mom? Pregnant? Divorce? Move to another country to work? Peace Corp?

I think that Matt and Sarah are expecting. I think that Mary and Carlos will be expecting. Of course, Lucy already is. Okay, so so far the Camdens have 2 grandkids. My fear is that someone will be pregnant with multiples so that there will then be 7 grandkids. (Ick!)

I vote for divorce/seperated. Ruthie did not seem to excited when she heard the new secret. I am probaly wrong though, I am no good at figuring this stuff out.

oh wow i wonder if this is true, because ruthie did not seem happy about it at all

I guess it's just me, but I didn't gather that Sarah and Matt's secret made Ruthie upset. To me, it seemed like it was such a big secret that she was upset at being the one to reveal it, like it was too overwhelming for her.

On one hand, I don't think it's that they are separated/divorced because that one seems to obvious.

But on the other hand, maybe that's why Sarah told Ruthie to go ahead and reveal the other secret about them getting married, because now it really wouldn't matter.

I agree with you. She didn't seem thrilled, but she didn't seem too upset either. I think it was more being overwhelmed. I think its that she is pregnant. At first I thought it was that they were seperated or divorced or dropping out of medical school. Then I realized they were graduating in a couple weeks, so the last one wouldn't make sense. Then I thought I heard I think it was Annie say someting about Matt and Sarah breaking up and Ruthie said No, they are still together. I might be wrong about that, but I could have sworn Ruthie reassured Annie saying that they were not divorced or seperated.

I know it is just a show but if a SIL told me they were expecting but I had to keep it a secret I would still be excited when they told me. I don't know. I am more curious about this now then the whole Simon/Rose thing. I am just looking forward to see how it is all going to end.

I think they are going to join the peace corps or not move back to california from new york. I love this show and am very sad it is ending. I agree I dont like the twins. I am very disapointed with ruthies character this year.
i would love to see a spin off of Kevin and Lucy.

The Hollywood Reporter says reports of the demise of the WB's popular family drama "7th Heaven" may be premature.

The network has been promoting "the final three episodes ever" of the most-watched show on the WB or UPN, but when the two merge into The CW come fall, "7th Heaven" just might be on the schedule, The Reporter said.

The Camden family has averaged about 5.2 million viewers this season and although no formal offers have been tendered, stars Catherine Hicks, Stephen Collins, Beverley Mitchell and George Stults have been asked if they want to forge ahead with another season, The Reporter said.

The fledgling network is reportedly keeping its options open pending the outcome of four drama pilots currently in development.

I thought it seemed pretty clear that matt and sarah's secret were that they were also pregnant. Did I miss something? At least that's the impression I got. I think that would be the joyous news they are referring to with them for the finale.

Not sure about Matt and Sarah but I think the joyous news will be Mary and Carlo reuniting.
