Personally.. I LIKE that Ruthie is a moody teenage girl... more the norm I do believe... She is still a goody goody.. but at least she gets very sad over a boy.

oh.. I do hope that the writers really did not redeem Rose in that three minutes. Annie is a soft touch, but that whole spiel from Rose was alot to take in.

I think Sandy is out of the opening credits too.

I don't like it that Ruthie is not involved in anything...they had to make her find a "cause" so she collected soup labels. She never even mentions going to church youth group. Mary had basketball; Matt kept finding jobs. Seems like Lucy, also, just had a succession of boy friends. I always think the key to keeping kids out of trouble in high school is to make sure they are involved in something.

It's "family money" somehow. He inherited it? Or something like that. But I believe maybe it's his mom that is LOADED. I can't remember the exact reasoning, but it's something like that.

And speaking of those episodes....I try to watch every day on ABC FAmily at and 7 Eastern time and yesterday was the episode where Lucy met Kevin and now they are just getting to know each other. But they haven't said about the money yet.

I don't think Kevin told Lucy about the money until after they were engaged. He said something about he had plenty of money to take care of them.

Kevin's dad is deceased...I think it is inherited money. Remember how last season he just bought a big house for them on the spur of the moment? I think he has LOTS of money.

yeah that's what i remember when he bought that big house. interesting i haven't watched too much of this season unfortunately. it's on at the same time as Prison Break over here i hope the re-runs start right away but i certainly am glad i found this thread!! thanks!
