The whole beauty/drama was the expression on owners face....was going to be a disqualify win... which probably would have been if not for modern technology...it took them awhile.... interview with 3 horses ...high strung... journalist holding the .. holding her horse..and holding on to gear

Journalism won the Preakness? I am surprised to hear this news because he was the favorite to win but Sovereignty's owners decided to skip the Preakness and have him run in the Belmont? Did you happen to see Clever Again? He is the son of American Pharaoh and was also a favorite that was running in the race

I'm sorry I missed it yesterday. Sandman came third, after a disappointing 7th in the Derby. I always bet on the gray...

It was an amazing, amazing finish.

It seemed the horse needed to get pissed off to find his amazing top speed. Getting bumped so hard must have finally been the moment Journalism decided to show everybody he was that good...

There were 3 in the Preakness that were in the KD and I believe Clever was one of them.

I like to watch the actual race, but not into horse racing in general. I look for what the 'post time' will be to decide when to tune in and skip the 4 hrs of "expert commentary" that takes place prior to that...............LOL.

Same here. I watch each of the races of the Triple Crown starting about a half hour before post time until the end of the winners circle ceremony unless a trainer or owner that I do not care for wins.
