We slept in a little today because we had such a long first day. Mitchell opted to sleep on the couch and that was totally fine with Allison. I don't think it was all that comfortable but he is a good sleeper and it didn't bother him at all.
We had our "free" breakfast and brought it back to our room. It was very good. Headed out to SeaWorld and arrived there at approximately 11:00. The weather today is again sunny, windy and upper 70's. Very nice.
We saw this odd looking vehicle on the way there:
This had us all laughing and was a great way to get the day started
We paid for VIP Parking. I don't know if it was necessary, but arriving later I just assumed we would be parking out in the back 40, but after parking, I think we would have done just fine with the regular parking lot. Again, not much of a crowd at all.
Such a pretty park...
We fed the stingrays, which was absolutely incredible. So cool. In case you have never been, you can purchase little fish to feed them. The wall of the pool is about thigh high. You put the fish in between two fingers so it is "standing up" on the top of your hand. You then put your hand palm down onto the bottom of the pool and the stingrays swim over your hand and eat it. I was scared to death! I jumped a foot when I felt it take the food and soaked myself and Ed. All it was, was a sucking sensation I felt, and after the first time, it was very enjoyable. Mitchell really wasn't into it. He did try it, but when a stingray got near him, he just dropped the fish in the water and said "here ya go".... They are so graceful and beautiful. They are now on our favorites list.
Here is our "entrance picture" SeaWorld made me purchase
Gotta run...be back tomorrow. Next up is feeding the dolphins at SeaWorld and some awesome coaster action...
