I had a little date with the laminator this week. Yes sireee I did!
First, I made signs for our room door and window and our stroller. Here they are all laminated and hole-punched ready to be hung!
Then I printed out our itinerary (They are approximately 4x5), laminated, hole-punched and put them together with little clips. I have three copies: one for me, DH and an extra.
I don't know if you can see it but two of the finished copies are at the top of the pic and the 8 pages of the last "booklet" are spread out. The two clips are at the top left of the picture. Each day you can unclip it and put the current day on top.
DD9 and I bought some Disney stickers to decorate the envelopes for Mousekeeping. She made 6:
While we were out shopping I stopped in Office Depot and picked up belt clips for the girls ID tags. I made the tags with 2 LGMH with their names on one side and on the back it says "I'm lost. My name is..... My mom's name is.... and our cell phone # is ..." Then I laminated it, punched it and it hangs from a rectractable clip. I know the little ones won't wear anything around their necks but I am hoping this will work.
Also pictured are some more LGMH non-laminated, and my cards (bottom right) to give out to other disers. Its a LGMH that I pealed off of the paint chip card. I printed out a mini-version of the sign I showed above and laminated the two together. I showed the front and the back.
And before I forget....here is the stroller my friend lent to us. It looks heavy but its only 17 pounds total. I have a rain cover for it too which will be nice if it rains (or should I say when it rains). Here it is folded and unfolded with the girls trying it out:
Finally, I picked up some last minute items at the drug store today. Tylenol for DD9, and a kids version for DD2 and 3. We have our adult version. I also picked up more sunscreen. I have lotion but I wanted to get the "new" continuous spray which will be great for reapplications during the day. DD3 is very sensitive to sunscreen so I have to be careful what I use on her. I also picked up princess chap stick with sunscreen and princess lollipops as a treat to pull out when needed. There were some cute hair ties which are always needed for the two little ones. And thats about it.
So next weekend I will begin packing (June 2 and finish by June 9th) I also need to ship out our surprise BBB box about 10 days ahead. I am also considering shipping the pullups, wipes, swim diapers and room snacks in another box. It would save a lot of weight to lug around in suitcases not to mention room. Remember we are gettting our luggage at MCO and bringing it with us to POR. So I dont want a lot of bags either.
Thanks for reading.
One more thing....its really hot but we haven't turned on the AC yet. I am trying to acclimate myself to the heat. Its 83 degrees in the house under ceiling fans.
