I need some warm fuzzies and bit of pixie dust from you kind people. My friend and I are on the Jan 11 Wonder. With all the holiday stuff going on I feel panicked that I don't have enough time to get ready. We're doing land/sea and we fly out on January 7.
We decided on this cruise not too long ago so there are some things I need (sandals, etc) that I can't get because I live in Wisconsin and trust me, they aren't selling that in the stores right now. Hopefully I can borrow some things from friends.
Anyway, the big problem is I can't find my marriage certificate. I'm currently going through a divorce. I still have my married name on my i.d. and so it doesn't match my birth certificate so I guess I have to have the marriage certificate. I checked with the county and to get a new copy in time I have to pay about $50. Lovely. Do I really need this to board the ship?
I'm terrified that I'll be wretchedly seasick the whole trip and that it'll be too cold to enjoy much. We decided to try a cruise because I've never done it before and I'm all about trying new things during this stage of my life but now I guess I'm in the wrong frame of mind about this whole thing.
Thanks for reading all this complaining. For some reason it helps just to write it down. I should be thankful, most people have actual problems and not "woe is me, I have to go on a cruise" problems, right?
