Pre Trip Itinerary for 4/17-4/28

Not to be confused with our pre trip planning, here is our tentative itinerary.

Tues 4/17
We arrive at 10:30 PM via Southwest Airlines
Rent car via Emerald Aisle from National (only $208 for 11 days, including taxes!!)
Check In at Dixie Landings-requested building 27

Wed. 4/18
Try to get to MK as early as possible.
PS at Crystal Palace for 10:20

Take a break to Dixie Landings pool in afternoon

Dinner at DxL food court or MK counter service

Try to see Spectromagic at 9

Thurs. 4/19
Julia’s Birthday!!!
Breakfast at Grand Floridian – 1900 Park Faire-8a.m. (if we can make it; if kids are too wiped, we’ll skip it and eat in room)
Pirates Cruise at GF-Cruise at 10 a.m.-all three kids

We’ll either try to reserve a Fantasmic meal at Guest Relations at DxL (before we leave in the morning) or Grand Floridian (while kids are cruising) for next Thursday
We’ll also take Monorail to Polynesian and Contemporary during Pirate Cruise, to check them out!

Pool Hopping-Port Orleans pool in mid afternoon (We think the kids will love the pool)

Boat trip to DD-Check out Disney Store and Lego store

Eat at Food Court at Dixie Landings or McDonalds in DD (if it’s really neat and the kids want to AND it’s not too crowded!) (we were originally planning to eat at a nicer place, but this is an economy move-I am beginning to panic at how much money we are spending!!)

My Mom, Dad and brother arrive after 10pm


Fri. 4/20
Brian and Julia to MGM (my brother is taking ds Michael for the day and my parents have dd Emily and ds Thomas)
Transfer hotels-check in at OLCC in afternoon

Le Cellier 5:00 priority seating (but am planning to cancel this, and we will eat at one of the counter service restaurants-like Yakitori House or Cantina de Santa Angel-another economy move-see above!)

Bee, Chuck (parents), Emily and Thomas (kids):
Swimming at pool in a.m. or visiting Fort Wilderness
Wonderland Tea Party: 1:30 for Emily and Thomas
Afternoon at pool

Michael and Bob (brother): MGM in the morning and then to Magic Kingdom to do rides in Tomorrowland and Mountains


Sat. 4/21
Cinderella’s Castle for 8 at 8:20 a.m. (I’m so glad we got this!!)
If not too crowded, stay awhile at Magic Kingdom

Hop to Epcot with parents and brother
Lunch at: Biergarten for 8 at 3:30 (My dad likes this place)

Mom and Dad check in at OLCC
Illuminations Cruise- be at the marina area of the Yacht and Beach Club by 8:30 p.m.-boat leaves at 8:45

Sun. 4/22
Arrive early to Animal Kingdom
Break in afrernoon and then go to MGM for Fantasmic

Mon. 4/23
Brother Bob leaves today
TYPHOON LAGOON (open 10am-6pm) arrive at opening
7:15 Hoop De Doo Revue


Tues. 4/24
Magic Kingdom-arrive early

Family Magic Tour Meet at 11:15 am at Magic Kingdom Tour Garden (left of City hall)

3:00 pm- Magical Moments Parade-want to see

Dinner at Liberty Tavern at 5:35


Wed. 4/25
EPCOT

Probably no lunch, just a snack
Ice Cream Social 3:00

Dinner: Rose and Crown at 7:30-try for outside seating for Illuminations


Thurs. 4/26

MGM and Fantasmic (9am-8:30pm)
Break in early afternoon
Fantasmic Dinner Package (Choose restaurant dad wants)-if we decide we want to see Fantasmic a second time (or we may return to AK)


Fri. 4/27
Blizzard Beach (if the kids did okay at Typhoon Lagoon-otherwise, we may just stay at OLCC, or try miniature golfing)


Sat. 4/28

Plane leaves at 11:10

First trip: July, 1983
Second trip: April 17-20, Dixie Landings
April 20-28: Orange Lake COuntry Club
