Pre TR | 2 tents & 17 days

Hi all! Just wanted to check in and let you all know we are having a good time. The crowds are low and we just completed our 6th park day, with 4 more park days and 3 more Fort days left. Haven't waited in a line longer than 15 minutes. Of course we have also made 5 rope drops and have been playing the FP game pretty well.

Tents are working out very well and these electric blankets are wonderful!!!

Funny story, a squirrel ate our kitchen tent. Well, he chewed a 6 in hole through the top of the ceiling netting, between that and the rain fly. Little crazy thing got in and ate some grapes, chewed the nut can to pieces trying to get it open and ate several pieces of chocolate. We patched the hole and he can't get in so a team of squirrels aramed with their teeth have been working daily to get back in. They stalk us with their beady little eyes from the trees.

It is time consuming to try to keep up a report while typing from an iPhone, but I have been taking lots of pictures and writing down daily highlights to fill you in better with when I get back home.

We checkout the 31st and may or may not add a day. Depends on when we get everything done on our must do list. Might stop over in TN for a night or two on our way back to IL.

Hello All!

We are officially homeward bound

We extended out stay 3 nights for a total of 20 nights and 21 days and had a good trip! I did fall down a flight of stairs at Hollywood Studios and bent both ankles backwards and had to be pushed in a wheel chair for the following three days.

Please forgive me in my delayed trip report. My oldest needs my immediate attention when I get back home. I have some serious unpacking to do and tents to set back up, deep clean and repack. In addition, my 4 yr old has surgery on Monday.

Here is a little bit on Fort news...

The comfort stations are now magic band entry and Trails End has strawberry shortcake on the buffet ( I have pics!!! ).

Wow....that was 21 days all ready? That went by fast!! Sorry about fall, but glad it doesn't seem that it dampened your attitude! Good luck with all the craziness at home....hope that the surgery is routine ( as much as any surgery can be) and goes off without a hitch followed by quick recovery. We'll all be here when you get to pics, etc....get yourself and family settled first!! Safe travels!!!

Glad you were able to extend your stay. Sorry to hear about your fall, ouch. Hope you guys had a safe trip back home and will wait on the update from your trip.
