Pre-Podcast Cruise meet at the Poly ~ 5/9 at 9pm

To those who've mentioned the Long Island Iced Teas and other adult drinks from the Poly... I can guarantee you that I will have a pinacolava in hand! It's an amazing drink that the Poly bars serve - a pinacolada with raspberry puree ribboned through it. OMG - it's wonderful and I'm not even a sweet/girly drink kind of girl.

It's an amazing drink that the Poly bars serve - a pinacolada with raspberry puree ribboned through it. OMG - it's wonderful and I'm not even a sweet/girly drink kind of girl.

Thanks for that suggestion!! I happen to be a "sweet/girly drink kind of girl"! My favorite...Toasted Almond. Sweet and simple. I'll definitely have this for the meet. Can't wait to try it!

I've been there once for breakfast and once for dinner; although it's been a while. This restaurant, from what I've heard and saw with my own eyes, is not very well attended. For some reason I think a lot of people tend to forget its there. It has a mediterranean flair to it and is bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside.

Both meals were good. I wouldn't go out of my way to say they were spectacular, but good. This is a good choice if you are looking for a quiet, relaxed setting.

Thanks Aaron! DH is humoring me with the cruise...and since we will be celebrating his college graduation on this trip, I figured i'd let him choose where we eat. He was leaning towards Narcoosees, but for some odd reason chose Spoodles. He's always wanted to eat there...I guess this till be the trip!

DH and I will be there. We may bring some friends who are not going on the cruise but are giving us a lift to the port. Would like them to get a glimpse of what they are missing. Not sure if they will think that's a good thing or a bad thing. Hope that won't be a problem.

The more the merrier They'll prob be jealous they're not having fun on the boat once they meet us lot

Oh don't be shy I thought I would feel a bit left out/overwhelmed at MF but everyone is great and even if you're not instigating the conversation someone else will be chatting away You'll soon make a friend or 100

We should be there too- me, parents and my cousin. Not sure they will be up for jellyrolls, but i might be- is it walking or um, stumbling distance to the Dolphin? I wasn't certain?

We had dinner there in 2006 and they 'lost' our entrees They must have then found them and brought out the barely warm plates of food which we were part way through when two more piping hot dishes came out (the server spotted we were eating before she got to the table so just turned around ) - we didn't bother with desert

I really like that idea! As I've only been to the Poly once and wouldn't know which way to go off the bus/monorail to get to the beach.
