Pre-ordered photo pass

Can someone explain the pre-ordered photo pass, I haven't been there in a couple of years, has something changed? In the past, we have gotten the photo pass cards when we first walked into a park, the photo pass photographers always had them on them and after we got one we would just had to photographers the card each time we wanted our picture taken and they were all on this card. Now I keep reading something about pre-ordering your photo pass, is something different now? Thank you

photopass+ includes pictures at some meals. It also includes all ride pictures.
