Pre-ordered groceries delivery?

When you pre-order groceries, are they waiting for you in your room, or do they get sent to your room after you've checked in?

The last few times we've checked in to SSR we've been given a choice of available units in different locations around the resort - we like this element of choice. Next trip, we thought we'd pre-order some groceries but it occured to me that, if groceries are waiting for you when you arrive (assuming you arrive later than the 5pm start of deliveries time), it must mean your unit has been pre-allocated to you prior to check-in and there would be no choice of location or option of moving.

Or do you check-in and the groceries are brought to your unit soon afterwards? If so, how long afterwards?
 
Basically this is how things go:

You order your groceries through Gardengrocer, Wegoshop, etc . . . when you order you disclose when you are checking in, what resort you'll be at, and approximate time window (3-5pm, etc . . .) that you want it delivered. Typically the groceries will be delivered to Bell Services and you will receive a call from the delivery person notifying your groceries are there. Some times if you are already in your room when they call they will deliver to your room, but you have to be physically in your room for this to happen. If the groceries are delivered to Bell Services you just call for the groceries to be dropped to your room, or you can walk/drive down to Bell Services to pick your order up.

We used Gardengrocer in January and were staying at SSR. We received 2 phone messages on our cell saying our groceries were on property and ready to be delivered. They delivered our groceries to Bell Services as we were waiting for a ride to transport our luggage. We saw the delivery person go into the back area and put the groceries into a refrigerator and we just asked our Bell Services guy to grab it for us. It was very easy.
 
We were at SSR in Feb and did this. Seeing that the resort is sooooo large, we thought it would be easier to be in room for them to deliver directly to us. This worked out fine. They called us, came to the room and even put the food in the fridge for us. They said if we needed anything else through the remainder of our trip there was no additional delivery fee. Great service, will always use them when going back home.
