Does anyone know how soon you can order the pre-paid photopass CD? I want to order before the 6/15 visa card discount expiration but I won't be going until the end of August - is this too early??

The code you get is good for 90 days after you preorder. However, other people have said that if you're slightly over 90 days you're probably okay because all you have to do is call and they can reactivate the code. :)

I believe it's now 60 days. It used to be 6 months, but it changed sometime last year.

Last year I did not pre-order the PhotoPass CD and I paid $120 if I remember correctly. Last year we had about 10-15 photos. The main reason I purchased we wanted use the photos to create Christmas Photo Cards at Costco. I thought about pre-ordering it this year to save money but I wanted to get other DIS'ers view on the photopass CD. If I get this year, I'll make sure we get a A LOT photos!!

Just curious, how many photo's does the CD hold? If we get a bunch of these photos in the parks do they put them all on one CD? Last year we went and just bought a few of the photo's we liked and it ended up costing us $60. so I think we may go with the CD if it holds alot.

I don't know how many fit on a CD it depends in the resolution the camera is set at. I saw on some message board that a lady had about 300 photos taken with the photopass and her photos came on 4 cds. I don't know if there is a limit to how many photos you can have taken.

The CD will hold as many photos as you can get taken. If the CD is too full then they'll give you 2 CDs. Basically, you don't pay for the number of CDs or the number of photos; you pay a flat price for an unlimitted number of pictures.

Don't forget that before you order the CD (not the pre-order; the final order) that you should do all your editting and copying of photos. Doing this is the reason we ended up with 2 CDs. Our quantity increased drastically doing this.

Can anyone tell me what the discount is for the cd if I have a disney visa card?:confused3

Thanks!!:flower3:

i emailed photpass during the week because i want to pre-order before the price goes up in the middle of june - I dont come back til end of september and advised them that I wouldnt be able to order my disk til mid october and they confirmed that the code would still be valid then, and if I had any problems i should just email them and they will fix it.:cool1::cool1:

this was good to know when is the exact date of the price increase. I want to pre-order too and I don't return from our trip until Sept 19th but I want to have time to edit and etc

Thank you for letting me know that the code would still be good through an October trip - I was planning on sending that same question to Disney photopass myself.

The code is 9VISARD15, but it expires by June 15th.

Thanks OP for posting about this. I will look into it over the weekend.

Was this a general code sent out to all Disney Visa holders, because I don't remember getting this offer...maybe I missed it. I don't see it under the offers on the CC web page either.

Just wondering.
