Pre order photopass $99 is back!

We had the photopass in Sept/Oct 2008, I ordered it at the beginning of the year and had terrible problems with it when we got back because according to the photopass staff it should only be ordered 3 months in advance.

By the time i'd put all the borders on my 500 pictures we had 3200 photos and they all got lost somehow but it took them 2 weeks to sort out but eventually they did.

I still intend to purchase it again and even though I had problems it won't stop me from ordering it more than 3 months out.

Well on Sunday morning (before we drove to cardiff to see hairspray) I booked the photo pass, we were looking at the memory package. The trouble is we would need three of these books. Do you think I could have ordered the memory package and then ordered two more books??

Also sorry for all the questions, but I have been sent an email confirmation ......... I assume it does not get activated until we get back and I put in the code?????

You would have been able to order a couple more books. When you get back and place your order you enter the code and it will deduct the cost of the CD from the amount to be paid - if you had got the memory package it would have taken off the cost of one book and you would have paid for the other two.

Can someone definitely confirm that with the Custom Front Cover Book you can have your own photos inside? Coz when I've looked at the example on the site, it says only your own photos on the front cover, and Disney's own photos (which are fab I know) inside the book.

I had a dummy play (and I know I dont have any of my own photos on the site) but it doesnt let you enter text on the pages - only photos.

Please please can someone say that I am wrong.... and that I can have one of those gorgeous made ones with my own wording, background, photos etc.

And then I will happily stick this order on my Post Office Credit Card!

Good question Lorraine.

My book, which I've got on preview on the other page, was done in 2008 and I haven't done one since, so I'm in the dark on this also.

I'm HOPING that I'll still be able to add our pictures also, as this was a nice touch and it made my book much more personal, as I'd added in some silly ones we'd taken, but those are the ones which make us smile :)

I hope someone knows the answer to this :thumbsup2

I've never had to cancel and re-order, but with regards to the number of pages, I think you get 20 with the option of adding more pages for an extra cost per page. I don't know how much extra each page is though.

Also I have not gone too far have I and will be sent a blank cd??? Can you confirm nothing happens until I put in my ID number which i get when at disney??

Why don't you email them? You could phone if you want to do that rather but I like my things in writing.

I am not doing the photobook. I can do it cheaper through Jessops and with the CD I will have plenty of photos with borders etc to use, including designing my own cover. What I will do though is order one of the CDs with stock photos on it as they look like they would be great in a photobook.

You won't be sent a blank CD. You have to regster your photopass card(s) to your account when you get back to create a current account. You apply the code from your email at check out so that you don't get charged, unless you add in extra products at stage, in which case those would be all you would pay for.

Hello......I just tried Natasha&Matt's link to find out more about photopass and am told that it is currently unavailable but to try later.

Just so that I have some idea I'd like to ask a question or two. We were last there in 2006 and just dabbled with photopass......my DIL got the CD but we knew nothing about it until we got there..so didn't make the best of it....took loads of our own photos anyway.

There are 7 of us including our 3 GD's ages 11yrs 6yrs and 18 months and we may on some occasions split up - maybe if DGD18mnths is tired or if the older girls want to do something that is unsuitable for her.

Is it possible for us to have one account for all of us......and if so could we then order 2 different Cd.s......or will we have to have 2 different accounts.

Can we each have independent access to the photos when we return.....DIL at their house on their computer and me here on mine......and then each order our own personal and different CDs

Hope that makes sense

since a lot of our photos will be the same we wouldn't want or need 2 photopass accounts...........does anyone know if it is possible to make a second cd from the first one when we receive it?

Yes you can make as many copies of the CD as you like once you receive it, that is how the photopass shares offered on various forums work. :goodvibes

What do you do to claim this after you get back off holiday? I have had a confirmation email, but it doesn't actually tell me what I need to do to apply the credit!!! Its got an order number on it - do I just enter that somewhere?

It doesn't seem like anyone has been able to answer your question about this so far...and I can't either but my suggestion if you are worried about it would be to call someone there who can actually look in your account and help figure out what is going on. There should be a "contact us" link somewhere on the website and that will give you a number or an email form to fill out and they will get back to you. Good luck...sorry I couldn't help.
