We leave in 12 days. DS 7 keeps on getting too excited and feeling ill, he may have picked up 'Slapped Cheek Disease'...

Came home from a day out today to find water gushing into our airing cupboard (leak from the flat above) It's fixed now but we have an electric heater so no hot water until we get a new switch from the Council...

I'm convinced that something is going to stop us from getting to WDW...

It's all driving me crazy.. How am I going to ride this out? I'm not the only one who feels like this, surely?

Apologies for the rant. Thanks for reading!

Yup know the feeling.
We have 19 days on the counter, I really wish it would slow down, we have to move home (our landlord is selling, and its all complicated,we need to move before we go), Chelsea is awaiting her wheelchair, and my throat is sore and not right still (I have been suffering infection, and reactions in my throat for months now awaiting to see a specialist), so I know the feeling of, something will go wrong, I will fall Ill on hol, or we wont move, and ARGH!! lol...

All we can do is think positive, honestly, I am sure you will get on holiday and have a wonderful time, afterwards you will smile about it all :)

Good Luck, and hope your DS get's better soon. x

P,s you arent alone :)

Thank you Beth!! :flower1:

Best wishes to you and yours!! :sunny:

Best of luck with the wheelchair, my current one is such a state we're hiring one for the trip. I've been waiting months for a referall for my new wheels but we shall chase things up after we return now...

All the best!

Only 11 day's to go Donna :)

Just think positive thoughts and you will have a wonderful trip when you get there.

Good luck to you, I always enter panic mode just before we are due to go, but this year I think that panic will set in early. Dh has just been made redundant, and no new job to start until 1st Oct., and as if that's not enough to worry about, I have to take my son to Sheffield 6 days before we go to Orlando to swim in the British National Youth championship (i am printing his entyr form as I type this), I will be so excited and worried for him he qualified for a 1500m swim - thats 60 lengths of a 25m pool the longest distance men swim - men he's only 12 - lets hope my nerves survive that and then the final preparations for our 3 week trip. Have a great time and above all relax when you get there!

We don't go til the end of Aug and I've already done my list and started getting things together !!

I don't like to think that I've forgotten anything LOL

Thanks for the good vibes folks. :goodvibes We have hot water now and I'm gradually getting through the mounds of washing required after the leak. (I think I'm being prepared for post holiday laundry syndrome.. )

Hehe now you can come and sort us out ;)
I've not done anything suitcases are in the attic, clothes which we have bought are still in them bag thingies from asda etc, and nothing has been bought....unorganised, DEFINATELY...but I have good reasons this time lol :smooth:

Funny ... I thought of you all today .. I was eyeing up all the summery stuff in the shops today thinking .. must put one of those bags on my list !

My DD decided that her feet were too bad to walk around the shops today so off to shopmobility to borrow a wheelychair. It got me thinking .. Do they have shopmobility in Florida ?
We are not planning on taking a wheelchair for DD as most of the time she is ok but if the wortst came to the worst and she really couldn't walk could I hire one ??

You can hire wheelchairs at the parks.

Don't worry Beth we're not organised either. We've got as far as sorting the clothes and composing a Things to Do to Get Organised Spreadsheet

Now I have a single figure countdown!!!!!!!! :earseek:
