Pre Cruise Hotel Opinions

We would like to stay in Port Canaveral for two nights before our cruise. I would like to hear opinions and recommendations about your favorite or least favorite hotel. Thanks.

My favorite is the Marriott Residence Inn. It is an all suite hotel with full kitchens, friendly staff, nice pool and a nice hot buffet breakfast in the am (included in rate). Only about 1.5 miles from the port.

You may get many different opinions! Not sure if you can make the perfect decision based on that.

For a two-night stay you have to pick a hotel a bit differently than someone who arrives at 10pm and cruise the next morning and just needs a place to sleep.

What are your interests? Will you have a car? Budget? Preferred hotel chains?

I am also interested in this... We are looking for something for four nights before sailing on the Dream, so I would love recommendations for something a little more 'resortish' where we can spend a few days over New Years

We either stay at the Residence Inn at Port C or at WDW. Last year before our NYE cruise we were at Animal Kingdom Lodge which was still decorated for Christmas-it was lovely.

We like to stay at a Disney resort just to start getting in the mood. Then we've done rental car or Magical Express to port

Hilton Oceanfront has a great beach area and rooms with a nice view of the ocean. They have a shuttle to the Port that costs about $10 per person also. we stayed there before our recent cruise on the Dream and really enjoyed it
