Hi

Well in two weeks time we will be on our way to the mouse :cool1:

This time is the first time we fly with Aerlingus (GLA-DUB-MCO) and from what I have read when we leave from Dublin we can pre-clear immigration for the US there? Is this still true and has anyone done this?

Also what happens when you get to MCO do you just jump through too baggage reclaim and then through customs?

All the info I can find is a bit out of date and not very clear on how it all works.

ok maybe found the answers i was looking for and i can't delete this posting can one of the mods please help.

The last few times I done the direct flight dublin to orlando aerlingus flight you cleared immigration in MCO the last time being may last year but they are moving into the new part of the airport in November and I have heard that you will clear both immigration and customs in dublin so I hope thats true :)

Here is some info, all flights up to 4 pm to USA will clear Immigration at Dublin

Thanks I did read that but it was me reading it wrong and getting stressed out that i was not reading it properly. Will just have to wait and see what happens when we get to Dublin.

I just like to be 100% on what i'm doing its the over planner in me :scared1:

I vent on here because DH gets fed up of me talking about it all the time.

I can understand your situation, my DW is the same, i try to find new places to stay, but she does not show much interest, but if the place is not good then it would be my fault:confused3 actually its always the mans fault :rotfl:

With Dublin Airport extension open, you should be ok for clearing there now before flights to USA

:rotfl: My poor DH just humours me most of the time.

Have you tried the old making it like its her idea becasue i fall for that sometimes just hint don't tell or in fact just leave open a few pages of that places you want to try and maybe then she will look and change her mind.

have been doing that for our Beach stay next year, she eventually looked at a place i had left on the Internet when i was out of the house, and when i came back said , oh that looks quite nice, so ended up booking it, before she changed her mind.
