Pre-booking Palos for other cabins?

We are staying in a cat. 3 on our next 7-day cruise (requested to pay for an upgrade to cat 1 or 2, but not holding our breathe). We will have a total of 6 cabins booked for our family reunion cruise (cat. 6, 8 and 10). This is the first vacation we have all taken together since I was a kid. When I reserved the room I was told by many different people that I would be able to pre-reserve Palos for dinner and brunch for our whole party (10 adults total) and also the whole group would be able to receive priority boarding. Now I just read on another thread that concierge is not allowing you to reserve Palos for people not staying in the concierge cabin.
If we can't all board together I am not too concerned, but we really want to eat in Palos together. Can I pre-book Palos for all of us for brunch or dinner? If not what is the chance that we will be able to get a reservation for all of us together?
We are not trying to "take advantage" of concierge. No one in the party plans to make any other Palos reservations other than this one, we just want to be able to eat together. We just lost our father and both our grandfathers this summer and my mother is really looking forward to this cruise as a "happy" time for us. At this point we all need something to look forward to and I know my mother especially would be really disappointed if we can't have an adults dinner.
Thanks for your help!

I just tried to book a Palo brunch for a DIS meet. I was unable to book for other cabins, she did ask me if our reservations were linked. I think because all of you are traveling together and your reservations are possibly linked together you may be able to. You will receive a letter with a number to call to book your reservation.

Even if you can't pre-book for the entire group, you can all go together to Palo. Make sure you board as early as possible and get in line to make more reservations as soon as you board. If you are a little flexible on day/time, you shouldn't have a problem.

On our cruise in October there was a group of Dis'ers that booked a reservation at Palos 2 seperate times for over 50 people so I know that this is possible. They were all there the day we had our brunch reservations. I would just keep asking until they accomidate you.

Great thanks! Yes, our reservations will be linked. I am keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well.
Thanks again!

I was just told last week that they are no longer doing this cause it caused problems.

I think you will if you are linked, I was just trying for a DIS meet, so we weren't. (I'll PM you the phone # when I get home later, you can call and ask)

Thanks! I will feel better knowing the answer either way. Sounds silly, but I like to know exactly what to expect so I don't sit around and worry about it.

We were part of the 50 group....... that did not happen

And They Did Not Allow This ...... the Group Leader Recieved a Message from the Manager of Palo, It was cut in half and on 2 Seperate Days ....
