Hi everyone,

Thanks for keeping us in your prayers. Mom is doing ok right now. She says the chemo hasn't been so bad so far. But she is preparing for it to get worse. The main problem right now is the doctor that missed the original diagnosis is avoiding her and her fiancee. They are not sure if the doctor just feels really guilty and doesn't know how to handle that or she just doesn't really care. She won't personally return any of their calls and don't know if they should just outright switched doctors.

We've all been sick with some horrible cold here so haven't been to visit Mom since we've been home from vacation. Can't take the risk, you know. But I was the last to get it and it's almost gone, so hopefully in a few days, we can go up. Got to make Mom some homemade lasagna tomorrow. She loves it and in her words "can't make it right" With a compliment like that from the woman who taught you how to cook everything else, who could say no.
