Prayers please - DD has pneumonia

My 7yo DD has pneumonia. If you pray, all would be appreciated. She has been running a 103 + temp and nights have been horrible. She has another appointment tomorrow for a check, please pray her lungs sound better. If not they are probably going to admit her.

Sending lots of PD!!!!! I have had pneumonia 8 times, starting about that age (4th grade or somewhere in there) and 3 times I was in the hospital - each time with double pneumonia but the last time I was under and oxygen tent for 7 days because it was so bad. I do have lung scaring and now have been diagnosed with asthma (which I think I've had for several years). I know the pain of the coughing, trying to breath, and the fever - so I definitely will give you all the PD and prayers she needs.

I know that you don't want her in the Hospital, but that may be the best thing for her depending on how bad she is.

I know how scary this is for you, I've been there with my DD around 8 y/o.

I hope she's feeling better soon, I assume she's on antibiotics? THey'll work well and her fever will come down, just keep her comfy and not too overly layered, even though she'll probably have the chills.

Will say a prayer. Keep the fluids in her if at all possible. My ds had pneumonia w/ 105 temp and got so dehydrated. Spent 9 days in hospital. And tell her is she coughs up stuff-spit it out. My ds had a hard time with that. God bless!!

Just taking a moment to check in. Thanks so much for all your prayers and good thoughts. I think DD is feeling a bit better this evening, still coughing, but the fever is down a bit. Now if I can just get her to take the antibiotics without throwing a fit. She is not good with medicines.
