Our home has been on the market for 15 months. It showed earlier this week and they are coming back tonight to look again. Please spare a prayer for us. We have to get this house sold, so we can get back to where my husband's new job is and the limbo is killing us. Thanks!

Ours was on the market for 27 months. We gave up, took it off and are dealing with 2 mortgages. Will try again in a couple of years.

My house has only been on the market for a month and I'm already losing my mind because we're carrying two houses. DH is in FL, having started a new job, and I'm stuck here until this house sells. Just lowered the price today. Having ANOTHER open house next weekend at the reduced price, so I'm hopeful.

It's a horrendous market, most of my real estate friends are really suffering. Not only is it a buyers market, the banks are being really strict about mortgages. Would you consider renting it if it doesn't sell? My poor cousin had to rent out two of her properties because they wouldn't sell due to her being moved around by the military.

At the very end of last month we got a contract - finally! Not the same people that were looking earlier in the month, but a contract and buyers all the same. Now we are going through negotiations. Why do you have to agree on a price before the inspection is done? There are some things that need to be tended to, but most are cosmetic (at least in our eyes) and do not affect the home in any way. I am going to have to call our realtor to see if the home warranty we are offering will take care of some of this.

I've been having open houses almost every other weekend and NOTHING. This weekend is 2 months that the house has been listed. I've already dropped the price. Thinking about dropping it again. It's already more than reasonably priced. This truly sucks.

Thanks!!! be thinking of us through the next week. It is a horrible time to sell a house, for sure. We dropped the price another 10,000, and then ended up selling it for another $10,000 off of that. DH is not happy about that, but it gets it gone, so we can move on to our next venture and quit living in limbo. Now, the home inspection corrections are being negotiated. Very minor in the big scheme of things, but again heartburn for DH becuase all is he doing is looking at it from a $$$$ standpoint.

Since we lived apart last year, I am thankful, after reading a previous thread about a couple in a similar situation, that we made it through intact. I have a good man and so fortunate for him.
