Prayers needed for new baby!

She's here.... we where in the world 12/7/03 when I got a call from my life long friend (my godkids mother) that she had delivered her daughter Jaden Mikaela Murphy at 4:34am weighing 1 pound 11 ounces at 12 3/4 inches long... she is doing VERY well considering but we needs some prayers sent her way. If you have a moment please pray for Jaden and her mother for a speedy recovery and for Jaden to grow stronger everyday!

How early was she?

My dd was 11 weeks early. She was 1#15.5oz, 13.5". She was in NICU for 8.5 weeks coming home at 3#15 oz.

She's now 4.5 and just fine.

She was 25 1/2 weeks... Amazing though... she is having the breathing tube taken out in the morning... and they will start to feed her then... horay! She is doing VERY well... thanks everyone!

My Little Sister was born at 26 weeks in 1979 and today is a happy healthy 24 year old woman . she weight 1 pound 10 oz dropped to 1 lb 5 oz stayed in the NICU for 99 days spent 3 days in the reg. nursery then came home .. only problem was a Lazy Eye and she had surgery when she was 2 and has been fine !! (she does still get ear infections but who knows if that is cause she was a preemie ) .. Best wishes and lots of pixie dust and prayers for your Friends and their preemie .. Michelle
