Prayers/Good thoughts? Aunt's safe return.

I dont ask often - I think you guys know that.

I got a call from my 13 y/o cousin. Yesterday afternoon my aunt found out her husband of 20-something years has been cheating on her....again. She left - and no one can get in touch with her since 4pm yesterday.

My cousin is so scared - the older boys (18 and 20's) are scared. The Dad/Husband...he went and left too, and is at his sister's. Nice. Wimp.

If youve got a spare moment, and a spare good thought - can you lend it to me?

I've wondered a lot, since reading these boards, what I'd do if that happened to me. I honestly don't know, but I could see someone just shutting down and needing some time alone. I'll bet that's what happened with your aunt.

You'd think she'd call the kids so that they don't worry, but she might just be too devastated.

I hope it all works out.

OMG... CR, your Aunt must be so hurt, devastated, that is why she had to get away...but so hoping she will stop and realize she cannot hurt the kids the way their dad has hurt her. She will come to her senses and come home.
