A LDS friend once todl me that their faith believes that some souls reach near perfection in heaven, but need to be in a physicla body and die before reachign perfection. It are these near perfect souls that are the little babies who die in-utero (sp?) or soon after birth.

I don't know if that would have helped me at the time when I lost a baby many yrs ago. Several yrs later when she todl me, it did help me to make sense out of what happened

Liz my 3rd child a ds had the same heart defect. Unfortunately it was 23 yrs. ago and they couldn't do anything about it at the time. We allowed the Dr.'s to use his heart to try and learn how to fix it. I am happy that you have your dd.
