My cousin had her surgery today and things do not look good. The cancer has spread to her colon, and even though they did a full hysterectamy, they didn't get it all out. She is going to have to start another set of radical chemo.
On top of all this, she was going to go up to WI to stay with her sister during recovery, but now they don't think the hospital up there will be equipped for this chemo, so she will need to stay in FL. She had already told the apartment complex she was leaving and they have rented out her apt. as of the 30th. So now she has to stay in FL for treatment, but she has nowhere to live. There has to be a silver lining here somewhere, but I just can't find it.
