Update: She is still in the hospital. They are still trying to figure out what the bacteria infection is. Yesterday her IV blew and in the process of changing it the area around her knee started getting really inflamed again. There was also talk of blood poisoning. Her mom wasn't being real clear because she was somewhat upset and really exhausted. I was having a good deal of trouble deciphering what she was saying. She is going to call me later tonight to give me another update. Thankyou for all the good thoughts and prayers!!

Tell her to inquire about Cellulitis. It is a serious infection that needs strong antibiotics to attack the infection.

Seriously - I would call her & ask her if the Drs. have checked for this.

Good news! She got to come home today! I did call her parents about testing her for the Cellulitis. I was told that her leg is doing better and the doctors had tested for something and they determined they were giving the right treatment. It's so hard because they are in another state. She is still taking meds. SHe is very happy to be home and was very happy to get a bath..lol. They said thank you for all the prayers.
