Know this isn't like a lot of others but is important to me. DH has to have blood tests run every few months because of his high blood pressure and high cholesterol. His is not what he eats or does, but is inherited. He weighs what he is suppose to and eats healthy. His one vice is smoking. I have talked until I am blue in the face, but I don't believe one can quit smoking until one is ready. Anyway about seven weeks ago his white blood count was high and he was retested about four weeks ago. Today his GP called and wants him to see a hematologist. He doesn't know why it is high. Scares me. I looked up all I could find on the internet and Hematologists are almost always lumped with oncologists. He had an aunt who died several years ago from leukemia so nauturally I am going bonkers. Would appreciate all of you keeping him in your prayers. I don't guess we will even be able to make an appointment until Monday and then who knows how long we will have to wait. I may be pulling my hair out by then. Thanks to you all.
