Thank you dear Lee. You are sure in my heart and prayers my friend. By God's grace, I am able to do more in physical therapy and get stronger daily. Dad and I are praying I get home and back to normal before my May birthday. With all my heart I sincerely thank you and everyone else for your care, support, and prayer. Hugs to all.

...not gonna be around for a few days....I'll be going to the hospital tomorrow morning to have a patch inserted into my heart to fix a hole between my left and right atrium....all prayers welcome and appreciated.

....it's been a week and I am feeling better. However, when they did an echocardiogram, there was fluid around the heart. They had to do a 2nd one 3 hours later, before they'd release me from the hospital. Not gonna lie - the incision [ there were TWO of them, on both sides of my groin; one for the patch and one for a camera] was pretty sore and discolored for a few days. Yesterday I had a 3rd echocardiogram to see if the fluid dissipated at all, because they wanted to check for internal bleeding, but it seems to be good. I cannot lift more than 10 lbs but now I can go up and down a flight of stairs (slowly, of course!) No bathing but showers are okay. And, the best news is, I can now attend my retirement luncheon on Tuesday!
