I had a heart cath on Wednesday and got a good report! No heart failure! I have a Doppler liver scan this Thursday. Today was my first day to leave the house since I got home Wednesday night; so thankful to have gotten to get dressed and drive to church!

Thanks for checking on me!

Asking for pixie dust for the Bahamas and other islands that are in the probable path of Hurricane Irma. After going through Matthew last year (and keep in mind my island got the least of it out of the rest of the Bahamas), a lot of people are still trying to get themselves back.

I will say I am scared out of my mind about Irma. Work is going to be a nightmare this week to say the least because of it, and in the midst of it I got to get myself prepared as this is my DHs and I first hurricane on our own. I am praying it avoids us altogether and spins right back out to sea to fizzle itself out.

Continued prayers and good wishes for you, Dianna, and all others in the potential target areas. :hug:s
Thank you. I think I am pretty well-prepared, tonight I will be securing all my important documents and my husband and our neighbour are going to begin putting up shutters on the second story windows and take down our satellite dishes. Things are already selling out, like batteries and flashlights and plywood.

Hoping all goes well for you today, tonight and tomorrow, Dianna.'s You and all your fellow Bahamian residents (along with all the people in Irma's path) are in my continued prayers and good wishes.

Thank you. Although we are not in the clear just yet, so far we seem to be faring quite well, unlike most other Caribbean islands. Of course we are continuing to monitor her Ashe is going to be over us for a while, but the wind is not as bad as with Matthew and I haven't heard much about the rain or flooding. Our electricity hasn't been affected either at our house so it's good.

Thank you all for your prayers!

Sorry, it is off topic from the terrible hurricane situations, but my hubby has been out of work for 8 months and he is flying out tomorrow for a final interview.

    Prayers are desperately needed please!

Having said that, prayers to Texas and Florida. :grouphug:

    Prayers for my mom please.
She's been having some stomach troubles this summer and went to her Dr.
He sent her for a test that had a shocking result of swollen lymph node near her kidney. (Said that's probably not causing the digestive upset)
They just did a biopsy on Monday and the initial testing shows atypical cells. She'll be called tomorrow to set up an appointment to see a Hematologist to go over the full report when it comes in and do other testing if needed.
My grandpa died of Non Hodgkin Lymphoma so its hard to not have our minds wander there.

Prayers are said for your mom, QotWDWS. Hoping the tests ultimately show nothing to be concerned about.
