Prayer and pixie dust requests--Updated May 2

[Muffy]

I could use some pixie dust and prayers. I go for a sterotactic core needle biopsy today at 10:00am. My mammogram came back abnormal 2 weeks ago. Evidently I have an increase in micro calcifications in one area. I will admit I am very scared this morning when i think about the possiblity of breast cancer. I am in my 40's with 2 children and a DH. I am determined to do whatever is necessary. This is going to be a long week for me....

I did get my results from the biopsy and it is BENIGN! Thank you so much for the prayers and pixie dust. I can't begin to discribe the relief I feel!

I am very pleased for you Muffy. Also thank you to all of you for all your kind thoughts and wishes. We have had to cancel our WDW vacation this Christmas, and I did cry a bit last Saturday, but I'm trying to think ahead to the time that Roger finishes his treatment, and we can re-book.

it appears that I have broken a rib along with pulled back muscles from my severe asthma attack/bronchitis.

I'm on my 4 round of antibiotics & I am exhausted from all of the coughing.

THANK GOD my girls are better & daddy is too ... although he's a bit grumpy.

I gotta get better soon as we leaving for the world this time next month.

Please pray for my 76 year old Mom who had to have emergency gall bladder surgery yesterday. She also has bronchitis & is receiving breathing treatments for COPD (chronic obstrutive pulmonary disease).

I can't see her in the hospital w/out a surgical mask. My oldest brother (I'm 6 of 8) recommended I not go & risk getting the flu as the hospital is full of people with it.

We DID not have the flu & we are praying it won't come nigh our dwelling.

Could someone please pray for my cousin and her kids? She's going through a really hard time right now. She's married to a physically and verbally abusive husband; he's kept her isolated for a long time. He's teaching their kids the same behavior by his words and actions. To make a long story short, it all came to a head this weekend. She was at the end of her rope so she decided to smash her car into a parked trailer truck. Someone must have been looking out for her (she had no seatbelt or, no airbags in the car) because the car got smashed up really bad but there was not a scratch on her. We took her to the hospital last night so she is finally getting the care she needs (she has finally admitted that her husband is the problem...she never tells anyone what goes on in her house).

But could you please pray that she gets the support she needs to fight back and get back on her feet. All her family is behind her (she has a huge family and we're getting her some supports put in place). But I thought she could use some prayers and PD to help her along. Also, her kids are 12 and 9. They need to be taken away from their dad so that they don't suffer any more abuse either. They need a lot of counseling.
