Hi all. Some PD is need this way. Just found out that my wonderful husband may have an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm. He's having a CT scan at 2:45 today.

I'm trying to gather any information I have on this and it all doesn't look good . If this is what it is, all I can say is thank God it was found.

Anyhow, I'm worried because like I said, the information I've been trying to gather about this and about possible surgury isn't making me feel any better.

Hopefully I'll know more within the next few days. In the meantime, please keep us in your thoughts!

Just wanted to give you all an update on my health!

I am the 45 yr old mom with a 9-year-old daughter...loving DH...I was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in April. The cancer has spread to my liver. But, I am convinced with total determination to control my own destiny, along with plenty of prayer, I will get through this.

After 5 1/2 months of chemo, I had my test results read last Friday. The smaller tumors on my liver have completely disappeared...the largest one has been reduced by half!!!

I am feeling and looking great and have had no ill effects from the chemo...though I face many more weeks of it, I will get through.

Thank you all for all of your prayers. My trip to WDW in Dec. will truly be so meaningful for so many reasons!!!

To all who need it I am thinking of you. Perhaps you would also spare a thought and a prayer for my DH Roger who like you Sally has been diagnosed with colon cancer. He has had the tumours removed through extensive surgery, but it has already spread to 3 of the lymphs glands and possibly the liver, although that is still unknown. He is awaiting an appointment with the Oncologist to learn what and how much chemotherapy they will be giving him. In all probability we will have to cancel our trip to WDW at Christmas as I don't think that Roger will be able to undertake a long flight. It is a worrying time.

Please give Roger my hope for him. I felt much the same way right after I was diagnosed, but I have discovered much of life is attitude. Help him realize he can fight it and make a major impact on his recovery. Prayers help alot too.

You will most certainly both have mine.
