Hiya

We were wondering when we can pick up our pram. We are travelling with 3 children, 2 of which are twin toddlers and we are concerned about when we can collect the pram. Is it the first baggage collection or do we have put our bags through again at security. Sorry to be confusing, but I have heard your luggage goes through claim twice? I have not travelled to MCO since I was 14 and can not remember. :confused3

Hope you can help!

You can collect it as soon as you pass through immigration - you'll see a stack of them by the side of the baggage carousel.

Once you've got it you can keep hold of it but you will need to take your child out of the pram at further checks along the way.

You sometimes have to search for the buggies. The baggage handlers dump them in a stack in various places. They can also be soaked if you land in a storm, so its advisable to carry a small towel in your hand luggage, just in case.

The baggage handlers really treat them with disrespect. Ours was damaged, but we luckily got it sorted out and then bought a new one whilst shopping. Next time we are going to just buy one out there, it saves a lot of hassle.

Whilst I think thats a great idea, twin buggies arent exactly cheap so im hoping they treat ours fairly well... it cost us a fortune! ha ha

Yes, I totally understand that. Another point is that taking the buggy with you means you have it right away and don't need to fuss about finding one to buy. It can save hassle in the long-run, I guess it's swings and roundabouts really.
