They were awesome! My DD & DS were scared and did not want to go on, so they sat out. When we got off the ride this is what we saw.

my little girlie- all dressed in a bellmans costume! She "worked" for about 20 minutes. She didn't want to leave because the cast members were being so nice to her!

I would share a pic, but it wouldn't let me :sad2:

That is a great story!!! Disney makes it so magical!!! Your family will never forget that experience!!! :cool1:

The same thing happened to my DD when she was about 8 (she's 17 now and still talks about it). We were going to do Alien Encounter (prior to the Stitch conversion) and when we got to where you enter the chamber, she got scared. The cast member at the entrance said no problem, she can be my assistant. When the attraction was over, I made my way back over to get her, and she was helping to direct the line.

The other two 8 years that DID go on the ride were jealous that they didn't get to be assistants too.

That is really cool! I know at King's Island in Ohio if you get to the front of the line and your kiddo chickens out they have a waiting area for kids. Can you do this at WDW? Or are those isolated experiences? I want to go on ToT, my DS does not.
Thanks in advance for any info!

I don't believe there is an official place to leave the little ones while ridding, however we also got dusted by some pixie dust during our trip a few years back. We wanted to ride RnR but little brother was too small, the CM saw us walking away and offered to load us in the "alley" and have my brother wait with him. We were estatic.

No, I do not think these are isolated :wizard: Although our boys were 10 and just 13 we got the same treatment. DH and myself wanted to go on Test Track but no way! were they going to. We told them to go in and find a place to stand together and wait for us. Just as we came out the door way and was headed down the ramp we saw them :grouphug: A CM had directed them into the gift shop and were sitting on a bench waiting for us. Yes I was not 100% comfortable leaving them but they were together and at Disney... As we were leaving she said bye and told us all to have a good day. I know she had been "keeping and eye" on them because later they told us she had come over a couple of times to just chat. ;) We thanked her and went on our way
