Praise for DVC Member Services

I have seen a large amount of frustration with Member Services on the board, so I wanted to take a moment to pump them up with the great job they did for us today.

My hubs is an active duty LT (I am too) and his ship's schedule changed moving his deployment up by a month. We had a planned trip 2 weeks from now as our pre-deployment vacation. Well, with the schedule change, we are unable to do that anymore. So, I called up member services and they were able to change/cancel my reservation and rebook me for a few days following our planned departure for a solo trip for my son and I. The person at DVC really went out of her way to get us an equivalent location (changed from BWV to AKL SV-who would have guessed that would be available on such short notice!) and to help me getting all of my dining and Magical Express changed.

I have to say that Disney has been great at handling these changes (we had to rebook at trip in '07 due to my ship's schedule). I know they take a lot of heat over availability and customer service, but I can't thank them enough for the patience and kindness they gave me today.
 
Glad to hear it. Availability must have been pixie dust! pixiedust: Sorry about the deployment being moved up but I hope you and your son have a magical time. We have never been anything but pleased with MS.

I have usually had very positive experiences with MS, but we have only been members now a couple years. I think I only had a few duds, so I thanked them, hung up the phone, and called back to find someone very helpful.

Last year we had planned on 3 nights at KV well my step dad's burial was at Arlington at the same time and they let me bank my points even though I was pass my window! I have never had a problem with them.
 
Even though I've only ever had courteous and helpful MS reps, it's still nice to hear that they went above and beyond to help you and your husband get this trip in before his deployment. I extend my prayers to you and to all those who help protect this country.
