PPO Reservations

Do PPO reservations still exist? We had 3 trips last year, 2 of which I made 3+ PPO breakfast reservations for within a week's time frame. A month before our departure in October and December, the hours changed. We have a trip scheduled for next month, and the calendar indicates that the hours have changed once again. Due to traveling with children and a disabled family member, it's a good day when we can accomplish 5 attractions/experiences, so I've never booked just to get on the rides. We plan on keeping the reservations for the character experiences, but I miss the opportunity of getting an early morning photograph with lower crowd levels. I suppose I'll save a few dollars by not needing to utilize the minnie vans, but I wonder do PPO reservations still exist or have we just had a string of bad luck?

We've done PPO at EPCOT and Hollywood Studios recently. I guess I stopped trying for MK PPO because most every time we get one they change the hours!

They exist, but with the hours being not set in stone, they are a gamble to make (especially at MK, from what I gather)

Yes, they exist for most of the year. If you're going at a busy time, though, 8:00 am openings are pretty common.

I think booking the latest possible breakfast is a better idea. The character interaction is generally better and you can still take advantage of the lower crowds in the early hours.
