Just came back from a WDW trip. My FAVORITE thing to do is go to PPO breakfasts and get fabulous pictures of a practically empty park!

For my MK day, I booked CP at 8:20. The park opened at 9 that day. After taking the monorail (one of the few days it was working :( ) and getting to the park around 7:55, I went to the left as usual to be told I needed to get in the regular line with the thousand people who were already there. I asked if the park was already opened, he said no, at 9:00 but all guests can stay on Main St up to the castle prior to opening.

What???

There was a woman on the left side of Main St where you turn to go to CP letting people through who had reservations. The entire town square and Main st were filled....and the parks were not that crowded the entire time I was there, but everyone got there first thing in the morning.

Im I the only one who doesnt know about this?

I won't say you are the only one who doesn't know about the change but it has been talked about here since January.

BOG remain the only ppo option at mk.

Everyone can enter park up to the hub. Disney makes money on captive audience in main st shops. Only bog pre rope drop reservations can go past the rope and get to fantasy land. Crystal palace reservation holders get no further than general public.

Ah....I get it! THX.

This is not exactly accurate. CRT and CP still offer PPO TS breakfasts, it's just that BOG is the only location that will put you behind the castle/ahead of the RD crowd. Main Street photo advantage is pretty much gone.

Doesn't CRT still let you out behind the castle? I know CP basically has no advantage anymore, but I thought CRT still did.
