Wouldn't you use the GCH entrance in the afternoon. I thought that was only for GCH guests until 10.00am

In the past, the gate from the Grand to DCA was open to all Disneyland Resort Hotel guests until 11am, then anyone could use it. Now, the gate into DCA is open to all resort guests, but to access it, you have to enter the Grand from the DTD entrance. It doesn't make sense to use it now, as you have to enter the hotel from the DTD entrance by Sephora and backtrack to it.

Thanks. We've got 2 nights at PPH then 2 nights at GCH. Just trying to work out best way to get to the parks while staying at PPH.

The front entry doors to the Grand is off limits for entrance in to the hotel to all but registered guests and those with dining reservations at all times. You can use it as an exit, but you can't use it as an entrance. The Grand's entrance to DCA is supposedly restricted to registered guests until sometime in the late morning.
